Hey yall,

I’m Andrea.

For a long time, I thought fitness was a "closed-door" club, a place where you only belonged if you looked or moved a certain way. As a Black woman in a larger body, I know the heavy feeling of walking into a gym and wondering if there is actually space for you there.

I became a trainer because I wanted to be the person who holds that door open.

My approach to movement is rooted in the belief that all bodies are good bodies.

I don’t believe in "fixing" ourselves; I believe in discovering what our bodies are already capable of.

For me, that discovery happened through the kettlebell. It wasn't just about lifting something heavy, it was about healing trauma, learning to actually listen to what my body was saying, and finding a sense of power I didn’t know I had.

Whether we are working 1-on-1 or in a group, my goal is for you to feel seen, heard and empowered to take up space. Together, we’ll focus on movement that honors your body’s rhythm, rather than punishing it for existing.

A little more about me:

  • Hometown: Born and raised in Raleigh, NC

  • Favorite Tool: Definitely the kettlebell.

  • Current Obsessions: When I’m not training, playing kickball, learning how to sew, or hitting the platform for powerlifting.

  • The "Why": I’m here to help you build a sustainable practice that honors your body’s innate wisdom.
